We are a local farming family who are passionate about using the freshest local produce in our restaurant. The butcher, Shane Moore from Kilkhampton, a beef and sheep farmer himself, understands the importance of local consistent quality. From our renowned 21 day matured succulent steaks to Olde Cornish sausages delivered daily, he plays an important role in the success of the The Old Wainhouse Inn and its restaurant. Celtic Fish and Game provide us with all the pheasant, venison and other game we require to add a different experience to dining at the restaurant, along with fresh seafood caught in these waters.

Children are very welcome to the restaurant, with all of their meals being prepared from fresh ingredients too. Ranging from mini Cornish fish and chips to fresh pasta, we cater for all tastes.

A traditional roast carvery is served every Sunday with a choice of at least two delicious local meats, and interesting vegetarian options are always available and locally sourced.
